There are two types of MARC records available for Alexander Street Products: Product-Level Records (for each product as a whole), and Book-Level Records (for the items within each product). You will need to choose the type of record you want to retrieve from this page and then the specific set of records from the listing on the page for that type.
Note that not all products have MARC records yet. We are currently prioritizing previously released products. If the product you are looking for is not listed on the pages below, please check our schedule of releases to see when it is expected

Alexander Street Press products. Each book, play, manuscript, video, or
audio source will have a unique record. These records will include 856
links to the specific works within a product.
For example, you want to find records for all the plays in "Asian
American Drama". Choose the set on this page to retrieve the records for
the 250 plays in this product.
This page contains sets of MARC records for general access to Alexander
Street Press products. No records are available for each book, play,
manuscript, video, or audio source in these sets. These records will
include 856 links to the home page of a product.
For example, you want to find records for all the Alexander Street Press
drama products your library has access to, but not to the individual
plays in those products. Select the records for "Asian American Drama,"
"Black Drama," "North American Women's Drama," and "Twentieth Century
North American Drama."

Our MARC record specifications were agreed with a committee of customer librarians. We regret we cannot customize record sets. Customers are welcome to modify the records to their own standards. We have used current LC authorities whenever possible in these records. The MARC records in these files supersede records released prior to 2006.
