Here is a sample digital version of the Black Panther Party Newspaper. These are prototypes for review; the actual product will contain all 425 issues and be added to the next update for Black Thought and Culture, scheduled for later this fall. The newspaper will be available in its entirety, in color and fully searchable.

The Black Panther Party Newspaper provides a weekly record of the development of the party, and it includes contributions from such eminent figures as Bobby Seale, Eldridge Cleaver, Stokely Carmichael, Angela Davis, and Huey Newton. In addition, the collection will include 2,500 pages of interviews conducted by David Hilliard and Lewis Cole, in preparation for Hilliard's autobiography.
