This edition of American Film Scripts Online (AFSO) contains 1,009 scripts by 1,062 writers together with detailed, fielded information on the scenes, characters and people related to the scripts.
 
In addition, the database includes facsimilie images for more than 500 of these screenplays.  Most of the scripts have never been published before, and nowhere else are they available online.

With this final release of the collection, the database now features more than 100,000 scenes of life as portrayed in the movies.  

We have recently upgraded the PhiloLogic software used by American Film Scripts Online, enhancing performance and giving the collection a fresh new look. We have improved the search engine for better performance and introduced new toolbar navigation for easier browsing, but all other functionality of the collection remains the same. See the upgraded version of the database.

This version of the collection will remain active until May 1, 2009. After that time, any bookmarks or links you have into any page of the database will automatically redirect to the correct page in this upgrade, but you will need to note the new location and update your bookmarks accordingly.
